The office of the supreme leader of Tijaniiya Ghana who doubles as the President of Tijaniya Muslim Council of Ghana (TMCG) Sheikh Abdul-Faidi Abbdulai Ahmed Maikano organised Qur’an recitation in honour of  his Royal Majesty King Hassan Il. His majesty’s  immense contribution in the propagation of Islam and Tariqa Tijaniya worth recognition says the head of administration in the office of the Khalifa, sheikh Mutawakilu Iddriss. 

He added that the youth are ever ready to further up their education in both Arabic and circular education when given the opportunity by way of offering them scholarships.


The chairman of the occasion sheikh Ahmed Tijani bin Umar praises the king for his good deeds most especially creating an enabling environment for (ziyara) visitation to the Rawda of sheikh Tijani Ashareef in Fes among other interesting places. He reiterated the fact that it’s incumbent upon Muslims in exception the followers of Tijaniya to show appreciation and  profound gratitude to King  Hassan ll. The Noble  Qur’an was recited in its totality to ask Allah for continue blessings  for the late king . In addition  for health, strength, guidance and protection for his Royal Majesty King Muhammed IV.


The deputy ambassador of Morocco to Ghana his excellency Mr Abderrahim Cherrab  expresses his gratitude to the organisers and participants of the programme. He was of the hope that it will continue for many years to come.The head of the consular section of the embassy of Morocco Mr Jamal Eddine Ouargani was present to grace the occasion.
