The National Chief Imam of Ghana,Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu today contributed an amount of 50,000 cedis to help in the construction of the National Cathedral as a member of the National Peace Council.
A delegation of Christian Council visited the Imam at his residence in fadama today where the contribution was made.
The Imam’s contribution is to promote unity among Muslims and Christians in Ghana.The donation is from the personal account of the Imam.The Christian council have in the past supported Muslims during Ramadan and other Islamic occasions.
