The Sarkin Zongo of Kumasi Alhaji Sultan Umar Farouk, has called on the Muslim Communities in the Ashanti Region to hold their peace and pardon the Regional Chief Imam (Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haroun) over his partisan comments.
According to him in an interview with Hamza Adams of Hijrah Tv, the Islamic Religion suppresses everything and there is the need to forgive him.
‘Since the Imam has realized his shortfalls and asked to be forgiven, let us forgive him since we are fallible’, he indicated.
He called on all key players and stakeholders in the Zongo Communities to ensure peace before, during and after the December 7th general polls.
