The Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirate announced to the public that the government of Dubai has put new systems in place for financial allocations for Government employees.
In his statement he said:
“As part of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's efforts to reinforce family stability for UAE citizens and Government of Dubai employees and under His Highness’s directives, today we approved a system of financial allocations for Government of Dubai employees. The new system comes into effect as of January 1, 2020 and includes new features that support Government of Dubai employees and ensures a positive work-life balance, including the option of working remotely or working part-time. There will be a specialised committee that will approve a career placement structure among Government of Dubai employees based on their specified grade and salary structures. We have tasked the HR departments at all gov't entities and departments to explain the new system. Our efforts to develop the performance of Government of Dubai entities are unrelenting. We aim to build an encouraging work environment that incentivises creativity and excellence and attracts best-in-class competencies.”
