China has raised the death toll of the Wuhan Coronavirus to 54, with more than 300 new cases confirmed, according to reports.
The announcement follows the first case of the illness to be announced in Canada, with one person confirmed to be the a presumptive carrier of the virus following testing in Toronto.
"The individual is stable and is hospitalised" a statement from Canadian officials said.
