- Jack Dorsey, the owner of Twitter, has said he will consider relocating to Africa for three months

- The tech giant said this as he rounded off his recent visit to the African continent where he met with entrepreneurs

- During his recent visit, he was in countries like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Ethiopia

Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter and a mobile payment company called Square, has hinted that he could live between three and six months in Africa come 2020.

The 43-year-old tech executive was in different parts of the continent like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia in November, meeting with entrepreneurs and people leveraging on the use of technology for great change.

After he left the continent, he tweeted how sad it is to leave, adding that Africa will define the future, especially as regard Bitcoin, a popular digital currency.

It should be noted that the Twitter CEO loves travelling and he was in Melbourne, Australia earlier in September and in Myanmar in December 2018, to celebrate his birthday.

Another thing to know is that Jack is not the only tech big fish that has visited the continent. People like former Alibaba chairman, Jack Ma, and Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg have done so in recent past.

While Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former Nigeria's minister, said she is glad he made the journey, some other people engaged his tweet, telling him where they think he should stay.

The announcement of the appointment was made at the tech meetup that was held in Lagos where Jack, the owner of twitter, and other executives were present.

During the meeting, the executives were introduced to the Nigerian developer who created a special twitter bot called QuotedReplies.

In talking about how built the special computer programme, he said in October the bot had a massive 40 million impressions.

One of the executives, Kayvon Beykpour, of the short messaging platform was so impressed with Dara’s work that he offered him a job to come build a feature for twitter.
