The Ghana Hajj Board held a thanks giving ceremony in Accra at the Hajj village for a successful hajj 2019. The Vice Chairman and director of Finance of the Hajj Board, Hajj Farouku Hamza disclosed in an interview with a Zongo broadcaster which he stated that the fare for hajj 2020 remains unchanged.
In his statement he said, the government is still going to absorb
some cost despite the introduction of a visa fee of 80 dollars by the Saudi Authorities.
The package includes feeding, accommodation, transportation, visa fee, ticket
etc.
The payment of Hajj 2020 starts now till deadline of 31st
March 2020.The process is a first come first served. Pilgrims who wish to do payment
can start now to the Hajj Board account at Stanbic Bank or to a trusted agent.
‘’we will continue to ensure the progress made so far will
be uplifted’ ’he added.
