The renowned Islamic scholar of Darul Hadith,Sheikh Anas Tawfiq in his presentation cautioned parents to investigate when giving their daughters hand in marriage
Most men are irresponsible and do not take care of their wives.Most men cannot feed themselves but want to get married.Women are special creation and should be treared as such. Some men are very stingy to the extend they hide their monies in a special trousers and wash it themselves just to runaway from their responsibilities.
He added that,the prophet S.A.W in his hadith adviced a lady not to marry the two spouses when she came to seek for advice.According to the prophet one is an abusive man and the other is stingy.
''It is the responsibility of eveeryman to feed,cloth and shelter his wife.A jobless man should not to be given a wife even if he is Ahlisunna Wal Jammah'',he added.
