As part of MUYAD Social Services's approach to help liberate Muslim ladies nurses with wearing of their hijab, after delivering a copied petitions to NMC, spent some time to speak to a Muslim brother who helped facilitated efforts to help us speak to the Registrar.
The Registrar (Head of NMC) has agreed to see to it that, the exam hall denial of wearing Hijab is solved immediately.
We are still in talks to see the way forward for this to happen and an official statement from NMC issued out.
MUYAD Social Services with support from COMOG, some key lawyers (name withheld for now), Muslim Lawyers Forum, IMAGh and other individuals promises to use a planned approach to get our Muslim sisters in every institution wear their hijab and manifest their religious belief.
